This notice explains how we handle personal data under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2018. It sits alongside our privacy policy.
Red Sea Auto Check, Hurghada, Egypt, acts as the data controller for the personal data described in our privacy policy. Registered address: Registered address — to be confirmed. Data contact: info@redsea-autocheck.com.
We ask for consent before we send you anything that is not about your own booking, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
We do not collect health, religious, political, biometric or financial account data. Please do not send us documents such as identity cards or bank details; we do not need them. If you send them, we will delete them.
We photograph the vehicle and read data from its onboard systems as part of the check. Where a photograph would show a person, a house number or anything else identifying, we use it only inside your own report. We do not publish photographs of your vehicle or its registration plate without asking you first.
Our booking system, WhatsApp, our website hosting and the map on this site are operated by providers based outside Egypt, so personal data may be stored or processed abroad. We limit what each provider receives to what it needs, and we rely on the contractual and technical safeguards those providers apply. If you would prefer we arrange your booking by phone only, tell us and we will.
Access to bookings and reports is limited to the people who need it to do the work. Accounts are password-protected and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Devices used in the field are protected by a passcode.
Email info@redsea-autocheck.com with the words "data request" and tell us what you would like. Please include the phone number or vehicle registration you used when booking so we can find your records. We will respond as soon as we can, and within the period required by Egyptian law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the competent Egyptian data protection authority. We would ask you to contact us first so we have a chance to put it right.
